Emanations of Disfigurement (2022) is a surreal horror contemporary dance piece which draws imagery from bugs, coach roaches, and snails. Inhabiting extreme states of tension, lack of breath, performers draw on innermost dark states. Moments of still where bodies emulate scenography are punctuated by highs of physical virtuosity. The flashpoint of creation for this piece comes lived experience of medical intervention and negligence.

A highly collaborative piece, Farrah Fawcett created original clay sculpture Desiccated specifically for Emanations of Disfigurement (2022). It also included live electronics generated by Lydia Kenny, composed by Efe Yuksel.
